Patrick Felicia organises regular teacher training classes on GBL. Last year, GBL classes were held at METS11 and as part of the eTwinning Conference in Budapest. These classes are a great opportunity to assess teachers’ requirements and provide them with practical information on (1) where to find GBL resources, (2) best practice to include GBL as part of teaching strategies, and (3) know how to use some game engines.

Two additional trainings have been completed as part of a national study to evaluate the long term impact of video games on teaching and learning. These trainings were held on 7th 2012 and 22nd September . Teachers were introduced the the concept of Game-Based Learning and provided information on the different approaches that can be employed to educate and motivate pupils with games.
